This focused issue on “the Management of Thyroid Tumors in 2020 and Beyond” edited by Drs. Jonathon Russell and Jeremy Richmon, aims 1) to review the state of the art in the management of thyroid pathology; 2) to provide a venue for original research focused on remote access or minimally invasive thyroid management; 3) to review the success at extending proven management strategies into new geographic regions. We wish to cross fertilize topics from a pool of international repute and bring them to clinical, scientific and academic platform to portray their viewpoints, results and experiences.
