Welcome to the journal Annals of Thyroid!

Thyroid disease is one common and frequently occurring disease, which is very harmful to human health. Thyroid cancer is one of the most common endocrine malignancies, and also one of the few malignancies with ascending occurrence rates. Rapid development of economy in recent years has advanced the progress of medical technology, making more and more novel technologies widely applied. Meanwhile, treatments for thyroid disease have been constantly updated and evolved.

The Annals of Thyroid (Ann Thyroid; AOT) is launched at this point as a brand new electronic journal aiming at promoting the development of prevention, diagnosis, treatment and management for thyroid diseases around the world. It publishes Original Articles, Editorials, Technique Notes, Case Reports and Reviews on all aspects of thyroid diseases, covering hyperthyroid, hypothyroid, and other thyroid problems including thyroid cancer. The journal features a distinguished editorial board, which brings together a team of highly experienced specialists in the field of thyroid research.

AOT will be published by AME Publishing Company, an international publisher of medical books and journals, who now owns more than 30 journals covering different fields of medicine including oncology, pulmonology, cardiothoracic disease and urology etc. The entire submission is managed through OJS system, an electronic system to provide an efficient way and ensure a rapid turnaround of papers submitted.
